Half-Leasing

Half Leasing offers our riders the opportunity to spend extra time with a favorite horse, strengthen riding skills, and practice grooming and tacking.

 
Who Can Lease

You must be currently enrolled in lessons with us, riding at the intermediate level or above, and the office must have the approval of your instructor.

Requirements

You must be able to groom and tack, tighten the girth properly, warm-up properly, ride with consideration for the horse's well being, ride with consideration for others in the arena, know cooling-out procedures and be able to put your horse and equipment away properly.

Cost

$525.00 per month for 12 rides. [Full lease - $1150.00 Half lease - $525]

Scheduling

Three times a week, for 2 hours each session broken down as follows: 1/2 hour to groom and tack and mount up, one hour of riding time, and 1/2 hour to cool out and put the tack away. See our Barn Manager about coordinating days and times.

Horse Availability

The more popular school horses are not always available, so please make more than one request.

Rules

Lease riding is done in the main arena. Jumping, switching arenas or switching horses is not allowed without prior permission from the office. Bareback riding is not allowed.
